In 2005, I started taking baking classes at Lake Tahoe Community College for fun and I was bitten by the baking bug! Two years later, I had taken every baking class they offered and I had obtained an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. After graduating, I became a pastry chef for Harrah's Lake Tahoe, creating high quality desserts for their fine dining restaurants. It was a wonderful job, but I soon realized that going to work before sun rise is not for me. My happiness now stems from creating custom desserts and cakes for any occasion, may it be a Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary or family gathering.
Baking started out as a hobby, but with a lot of encouragement, and baking tons of cupcakes, cakes for anniversaries, birthdays, custom desserts and wedding cakes for family and friends, I am now creating custom cakes and wedding cakes.
I believe using high quality products creates the best results in all baked goods, from a simple brownie, cupcake or a three tiered wedding cake. I can create your cake design from scratch, duplicate a photograph, or a combination of both for your occasion. I am very passionate about food and my work and I take a lot of pride in everything I create. I will have the same passion and pride for your cake or desserts. My goal is to make each cake a spectacular presentation and a delicious dessert, reflecting your unique taste and style.
